Ford Motor Co. says it already sold more than half of the 2011 Shelby GT500 Mustangs it plans to produce.Ford has taken 3,300 orders for the high-performance sports car since it went on sale in the spring. It plans to produce only 5,500.The 2011 Shelby GT500 — named for race car driver Carroll Shelby — has a new 5.4-liter V8 engine with 550 horsepower.
