The powertrain in the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) medium-duty line of Class 6 and Class 7 trucks will consist of a 6.8-liter V10 gas engine coupled with a heavy-duty six-speed TorqShift™ automatic transmission. Orders for the new gas-powered chassis cab will begin in the fourth quarter of 2011.
